Save the Amazon- one person at a time. BuckSchmidt.com

On the 28th of February 2001, Buck and Luciene moved to the Amazon Basin of Brazil. We lived in Macapá, right on the equator. Why would a web designer give up his career and take his family from their comfortable life in Columbus, Ohio, USA, to live on the Amazon River? We came with a vision to save the Amazon, to tell people about Jesus, and plant a Vineyard church. We have planted a church, and we are turning it over to the national leaders, heading back to the States in Sept. 2009.

I am starting to get worried. I still haven't gotten my ballot. I want to vote. I want every vote to count, especially mine. It should have been here by now. Ohio is one of the critical states, and since that is where I am from, that one vote means a lot, at least to me. Not just because it is a close race. I guess, being on foreign soil, and hearing the press here in Brazil slam President Bush, and all the liberals and communists insisting that I should vote for Kerry, I want to be able to declare without a doubt, that I voted for Bush, and that my vote was sent in, and it was counted.

I want to vote for life for the unborn. I want to vote for nightmares for the terrorists that slaughter innocent women and children. I want to vote for integrity, a man that I really believe loves God, and is serving Him as best as he knows how. I want to vote my conscience, and I want my vote to count. I vote for freedom! I vote for the country I love, the United States of a America. I vote Bush.
